A SHOULDER THAT UNDERSTANDS YOU

THE PARENTING HANDBOOK FOR BETTER MENTAL HYGIENE IN CHILDREN

RAME_1

The Parenting Handbook for Better Mental Hygiene in Children – A Shoulder That Understands You (Rame za shvaćanje) came to be as part of Wiener’s Mental Hygiene project, which we have been collaborating on with Wiener and a number of partners for the past four years.

This inspiring and practical guide helps parents better understand their children and create space for healthier communication between family members. The guide’s author is Tanja Hrvatin Šimičić, while its visual design and title were done by us. Tanja is an expert in education and care as well as integrative psychotherapy, with extensive experience working with children and parents. Alongside the author, the project is supported by a lineup of ambassadors, including Marko Tolja, Ida Prester, and Tena Sakar Vukić.

The handbook is available free of charge on the Mental Hygiene platform. You can download it and share it, especially if you’re a parent of a teenager – because it’s always good to have A Shoulder that Understand You.

A Shoulder that Understand You

Mental Hygiene is a project by Wiener Insurance VIG, created in collaboration with Hrabri telefon and in partnership with the digital agency iProspect, the creative agency Señor, and the digital advertising agency Go2Digital, with media support from 24sata. The project aims to provide children and young people (and anyone else) seeking support, understanding and practical advice with knowledge and guidance on mental health.

The project is supported by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family, and Social Policy.
